Why we struggle with silence

  • Our minds crave answers, clarity, and direction.

  • But when we seek them externally—through overthinking, asking others, or rushing into action—we lose touch with our own deep knowing.

  • True clarity isn’t found in more noise. It emerges in stillness, in the pause between thoughts.

  • Entrepreneurs often feel pressure to always be doing—but the most powerful moves come from spaces of silence and full presence.

Yet, silence as an ally for aligned decisions

  • Silence is not empty; it’s full of answers.

  • When we learn to sit in silence, we allow wisdom to rise naturally instead of forcing decisions.

  • In moments of deep presence, your body, your energy, and your intuition align—this is where your true business clarity comes from.

  • Some of the most profound business decisions I’ve made didn’t come from strategy meetings, but from walking in nature, sitting in stillness, or simply breathing deeply.

Today’s Momentum Practice: guided Kumbhaka breath – experiencing the power of stillness

In this episode, we’re not just going to talk about silence—we’re going to experience it together.

Through a simple yet powerful breathwork practice, you’ll discover the space between your breaths—the pause, the stillness, the clarity that arises when nothing is forced.

So wherever you are, take a moment for yourself. Find a comfortable position—sitting upright, feet on the ground, or cross-legged if that feels good for you.
Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze. Bring your awareness to your breath. No need to change anything yet, just observe.

1️⃣ Grounding into Your Breath
"Take a deep inhale through your nose... and exhale slowly through your mouth.
Again, inhale deeply… and exhale fully.
With each breath, allow yourself to arrive here, now, in this moment."

2️⃣ Introducing the Pause (Kumbhaka)
"Now, we’ll introduce a simple awareness practice.
Begin to notice the tiny pause that naturally happens at the top of your inhale… and at the bottom of your exhale.
That moment where the breath suspends itself—where nothing is happening.
That is the space of silence, of presence, of deep knowing."

3️⃣ Deepening the Stillness
Let’s consciously work with this now.

  • Inhale deeply through your nose… and hold… feel the stillness at the top.

  • Exhale slowly through your nose… and hold again… feel the emptiness, the space between.

  • Continue this rhythm: Inhale… pause… exhale… pause.

  • No force, just awareness. Let the pauses be natural, effortless.

4️⃣ Sensing the Silence Within
As you hold the breath, notice what is present:

  • Can you feel the silence?

  • Can you sense that within this pause, there is no rush, no pressure—just stillness

😇 This is where clarity lives. This is where alignment begins.

5️⃣ Closing the Practice
Gently return to your natural breath. No need to hold anymore—just breathe normally.

🙌 Notice how you feel: Lighter? Calmer? More present?

Silence isn’t empty. It’s full of answers. And the more we practice being in it, the clearer our next steps become.

Take this presence with you into your day. And remember—you don’t have to chase clarity. You simply have to make space for it.
